Eric Kellen

Eric has over 20 years experience in engineering, project management, and training. He was formerly employed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). As a Life Safety Code Specialist, he performed hundreds of on-site surveys, initial licensure and certification surveys, and reviewed of Plans of Correction. During his tenure with DADS, Eric observed that there were very few expert resources available to health care facilities to provide advice and counsel on life safety issues. Eric started EK Life Safety Consulting in 2005 to address this void, but more importantly, to help ensure the safety of residents and staff at long term care facilities.
